A Lazy Day at Home...

Today was a nice lazy day with Mom. We sat around in bed all day watching YouTube videos and movies on TV. I only really got out of bed to eat breakfast, dinner, and a few snacks. Oh, and we did our nails together. I hate doing my nails, but Mom seems to think it's fun or something. Sometimes I think Mom is crazy.

My favorite part of today was building a fort on the bed that I share with Mom. Mom piled her blanket at the foot of the bed, and I burrowed underneath it, and hung out in my own little cave for a while. I accidentally fell asleep in there, but Mom didn't seem to mind.

I'm going to go back to taking a nap now. Maybe next weekend I'll go on a real adventure.

Sleeping in Weird Positions

One of the many talents I have acquired over my months of living is the ability to sleep in weird positions. It is an especially useful talent when you sleep about 22 hours a day like I do.

Here is my latest position:

I'm Bored

WHHHHIIIIIINE.

I'm so bored. This morning, I brought all my toys into bed to try to get mom to play. When she woke up, she just tossed them out of the bed! I think she was confused, so I brought my favorite one back into bed, but she tossed it AGAIN. I brought it back a few more times, but she clearly didn't get it.

There's only about a million toys in the house, but I don't have anything to do... SO BORED. Gonna go bug Mom now.

Lonely

Mom's been busy recently, so she's not home so much anymore. In protest of this change of events, I've begun destroying a cardboard box under her dresser. It's not really that fun, but I'm super bored.

Luckily, she came home on time today, so we can hang out! I love hanging out with Mom.

Parents Just Don't Understand...

Mom and I just do not speak the same language. She doesn't understand. Every time I go up on her dresser she gets mad and squirts me with that stupid water bottle. Every time I scratch the walls or furniture she yells at me. Doesn't she know that I just want to be free to express myself?

Parents: can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em.

Good Morning World

In the past 8 months, I've been more of the world than most cats will see in years. I survived torrential downpour as a stray, lived with a strange woman and her daughter for several months with my siblings, got adopted by Mom, and traveled across the state (and back) with Mom to meet Grandma and Uncle and Aunt. All the while, I've honed great skills including (but not limited to): stalking, sneaking, hunting, and napping in really weird places.

My favorite food is chicken. My favorite place to sleep is under a blanket. I enjoy chasing that annoying red dot that I can't ever seem to catch, as well as that flying feather thing that I'm really good at catching. But most of all, I enjoy adventuring. I like to think that I'm brave for my age, I am after all only 8 months old. I have conquered several bedrooms, living rooms, and even the kitchen. One day, I hope to conquer the world, but for now I am content to rule my small, 3 bedroom kingdom.

I hope you enjoy my Blog, I will post again soon.
